NYC is fun. But I want to find a place where... 1. Nice weather 9-10 months/year 2. No/few cars, walkable city 3. Clean streets and public areas 4. Lots of motivated ppl my age building cool stuff. Any suggestions are welcome 🙏
sounds like madeira
People love to beat on San Francisco because of crime and homelessness, but outside of a few bad neighborhoods, it meets all of your criteria. We lived there for 10 years and loved it.
I've been wanting to spend sometime there for awhile.
I also lived in SF for over 10 years. Live in Austin now and IMO it’s way better in Austin. Summers are friggen hot here though.
Lived in Austin & SF. SF was epic 06-11, Austin is fun but is as expensive as LA to go out and eat and drink and with weather that bad and property tax that high I moved back to Cali 🤷♂️✌️
Yep SF was awesome during that era. Don’t need to go out to eat and drink. Expensive and too much seed oils. Grill steaks and drink water at home ftw.
I agree but Austin has good food scene and seed oil free options. I just don’t like a state where weed is still illegal and I need an ID to jerk off on pornhub. Texans talk about freedom but besides gun laws they are a bit backwards in my opinion in many ways
Malaga Spain
I think you and I describe "nice weather" very differently. :)
Seems like NYC ticks like 80% of those boxes though? Just estimating as an occasional summertime visitor 🙂
