PSA: To combat increase in unauthorized and illegal uploads of media (CSAM) we will start requiring NIP98 authentication for API uploads to nostr.build. This will have no impact on any of the clients, because all of them already do that, but will limit bad actors’ ability and will increase their costs. The change will be merged on 6/6 UTC and deployed thereafter! If you have questions or concerns, do let me know. Otherwise there is no impact to you. 🐶🐾🫡

 This is the same way I have it for some months, it works well for me to be able to detect from which pubkey they are uploading and block. 

 Yeah, since we had it wide open until now, some clients have foregone the authentication and now I need to make sure I do not rug anyone. Already found one potential impacted client and will wait until they solve the problem 🐶🐾🫡
