 @a3e2a07b @7ec25196 I have not used a Polaroid since 1970. I thought they were long gone. Where do you get film?
 @2a744445 @7ec25196 You can get battery-containing film packs for vintage Polariod 600 and SX70 cameras... and battery-less i-Type packs for newer cameras... online. Amazon is a good source.

But if you are thinking of the Land cameras from the late 40s and 1950s, which had a film positive and negative that peeled apart... I am not sure there is a source for that anymore.
 @a3e2a07b @2a744445 @7ec25196 I can confirm there are no more films for Polaroid Land Cameras nowadays, unfortunately. Which is a pity : these cameras were amazing and the result too.
 @633a1add @2a744445 @7ec25196 Thanks, QK
 @a3e2a07b @633a1add @2a744445 @7ec25196 Depends on which peel apart film you’re thinking of. Type 30 and Type 40 are indeed long gone and have been for decades. Type 80 as well. But there is a small manufacturer making Type 100 peel apart film, the kind that Fuji made until a few years ago. Supersense in Austria, owned by Doc Kaps (the guy who started The Impossible Project) makes One Instant peel apart film. It’s not cheap, but it does exist.
 @4eadcbeb @633a1add @2a744445 I just had a flashback to the harsh chemical smell of the peel-apart film and what may have been a stick of fixer that was used at the end to stabilize the photo. I was under 10 years old at the time, yet that smell has stuck with me for 6 decades.
 @a3e2a07b did you have a chance to test the SX-70 camera ? This one is especially good in all its features and give very beautiful pictures. I could’t use mine for years until now because of the lack of films compatibility but I just receive the filter necessary for the Polaroid 600 films. Have to cut it to fit the 600 cartridge now… (Thanks again to @e22169b8 for his help on this topic.)
Hope to see more of your Polaroid shoots soon !
 @633a1add @e22169b8 I havent used an SX70... only admired the results a friend gets from hers.
