Everyone who actually builds things does in fact care about it.
Seems pretty interesting ! I'll look into it.

He wants to know if you care about the holepunch protocol 😂 You do not.
I might if I knew what it was.
actually, i don't give a fuck about what that retard thinks, he's amply demonstrated he's thick, and enjoys acting like he's a smart arse
makes no sense to me either and i'm a programmer
We really wish it was typescript but I think they have been working on this stack for so long that Maf is an avid “vanilla JavaScript” guy.

Seriously considering funding a rebuild in typescript at some point if we have to just to pull in the larger group who will work with typescript.

Honestly this is the biggest mark against it, imo. But it does some things so unbelievably easily that we’ve decided to go back and just build it with JavaScript and figure out a typescript version at a later date.
afaik it's based on orbitdb, i remember when that appeared and i kinda got the feeling that it was going to spawn more abominations after it

i mean, what is the logic of writing network handlers in a language that doesn't have any concurrency?
You can add types to a vanilla JavaScript project
When I saw it was all javascript I gave up on it. It’s 2024, the least they could’ve done is used typescript
