 Consider that God wants us all to be holy, but he doesn't want us all to be holy in the same way.  Some are called to be great saints who accomplish historical deeds, others to come to sanctity quietly and be saints known only to God.

Furthermore, God is infinite, and gives innumerable graces for our sanctification, so who are we to resist the will of an infinite God?  I'm becoming convinced that sanctity ought to be the easiest thing, if only we can get out of our own way and let God's will overpower our own. 
 This is such a horrifying doctrine. Life sucks? Good! It's where you belong!
