This realization was the first time I got the “taxation is theft” argument. 

While I may be gladly funding my neighborhood park, I’m also non-consensually funding state-sponsored murder, all so that we can enjoy cheaper gas, debt, and iPhones. It’s not worth it.

 I had a phase where I wanted to live on a military base because it seemed like there was a lot of community within them. It’s when I live in Maryland and tons of people around me grew up on bases.  

 Paid to be good at pushups sounds like a mad buzz.

 From somebody that did enlist, personally I wouldn’t recommend it. Contrary to what I thought at the time, every conflict I served in made that region worse, not better. 

 Not in the slightest. And I wouldn’t wish that upon my children either. 

 risking my life for some power fantasies of a few? no! 

 I joined the freedom army many moons ago and it's so lonely.
