 @d21c1652 @54b144c3 "The Delirium Brief" got a re-write right after the Brexit referendum fiasco, and the subsequent books ("The Labyrinth Index" and the New Management trilogy) are *all* about the fallout from Brexit, through a Lovecraftian lens.  @0c1a9324 @54b144c3 what fresh horrors I will turn my gaze upon.  My third eye looking ever inwards to the darkness at the heart of these isles.

But also yeah I can see it giving a potential for snacky bureaucratic horror.

I must say on the political snark front reading "The Home Secretary isn't on the guest list - she's probably at home in her burrow, laying eggs in a paralysed illegal immigrant or something" I felt spoilt for choice about who was being parodied from the last decade.
