Weird to see the Bitcoin conference going full Trump/right support…at least that’s how it is COMPLETELY perceived in mainstream. And perception is reality for people, good or bad. Truly hope these left/right narratives around Bitcoin fade in a few months…but it could be years and years.
Probably the right move, understandable. I am sad to see a flag bitcoiners left of center be lowered in any way, however. But at the same time I agree with the sentiment, my favorite Bitcoin talk OAT is still and always will be Andreas explaining the invaluable positive nature of Bitcoin's neutrality to a nearly empty conference hall back in 2013
For me it feels like the low time preference right move. Left and progressives can still find a home learning from our content. We’ve got to move on from bitcoin as a political debate, it’s madness
How is the rebranding going to make a difference? I don't get it. Mainstream media is totally captured and with the whole bullshit with COVID why do people even listen to it anymore. With mainstream media you'll only be getting the narrative they want to push. What is more important is to pay attention to what is not being published.
