And as a European...I had this conversation with a parent of one of my daughter's friends last night. She was shocked at the outcome and had believed the polls. She'd also believed all of the smears and propaganda. I gently pointed out that if the polls turned out to be so far wide of the mark, then perhaps Trump being Hitler etc were lies too and maybe the MSM is the problem. The coverage in the UK has been so biased and one-sided that it's little wonder most people have been brainwashed into believing falsehoods. I'm somewhat apolitical, but can't help thinking this is a huge narrative shift, not because I think red is better than blue, but because the whole process has shown the legacy media to be the ultimate spreader of disinformation. The last 4 years have been less a political fight, but more a conflict between truth and untruth, reality and deception. Bitcoin has been at the forefront of that for me personally. I'm genuinely optimistic that truth is winning out. Although if Trump annexes Poland I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong.
