 Easiest way is to pay a little to a known and respected verification service, such as Derek Ross's  nostrplebs.com or nostrcheck.me or zaps.lol 

The best way is to host your own Nostr verification on a domain that you own. So say you own SeyrBitcoin.com, then you could run a Nostr verifier that says Robyn@SeyrBitcoin.com is legit and linked to your npub.

 For me important as there are even here scammers. I already so today in my personal Inbox a Jack Dorsey scammer. It’s a thing here, and important that we combat 

 There is definitely less of it here, but i think that’s just because we’re too small and too educated for now for scammers to bother. They’ll come in the next few years with the common folk 😮‍💨

I suppose some kind of deposit would vastly reduce the likelihood of scammers being wide spread. I dunno. 

Maybe 69 sats per post to go towards something useful would kill spam 🤔

Not the easiest but the best option would be hosting your own if you have a web-server with your own domain. 

 I, personally, found the own domain route easier than the provided options for getting a free nostr account. 

 I did it via nostrplebs.com more than a year ago just for never used it  all since then. 🤷‍♂️
