 USN gave my dad (20 yr service member) stage 4 metastatic cancer at 44 which killed him at 50.

But leaking nuclear reactors aboard old submarines are classified national security matters 🙄🙄

VA said must be a family history of early cancer. Conveniently his only deceased relative was his dad, who took a bullet to the head from the Viet Cong at a young age.

 My dad worked on nuclear subs and is 10 years into retirement- granted that was only for a few years during Vietnam. 
Besides losing his hearing (I think from the engine rooms) he’s in pretty good shape
