I got the idea from Steam which lets you share local downloads with others on the same network.

The idea is that clients could enable accept incoming connections from other hosts in the same network.

And instead of connecting to a relay that other host could connect to your client and get notes instead. 

 Localized Nostr for communication at a local event would be really neat. Something you have access to when you connect to the LAN and you can see everyone else's notes at the event. 

 Might that not increase privacy/ security holes?
Imagine how this might go at a bitcoin/nostr conference
