Highlighter, Nostr, and free speech for the win!
If any other podcasters/content creators out there are sick and tired of youtube and want to know how I handle all my long-form content on Nostr, here's the workflow I use for my long-form @Titcoin interviews:
1) Riverside for recording (they also have live streaming so I use the zap.stream rtmp and it's good to go)
2) Live stream broadcast to zap.stream, with recording enabled so the when complete anyone can still view the past streams on their own time.
3) After adding intros/outros in Riverside, upload finished episode to https://satellite.earth/cdn (storage costs paid in sats)
4) Copy upload link and paste it into @Highlighter , add video details/thumbnail
5) Publish videos on Highlighter: https://highlighter.com/walker/videos (there appears to be an issue with my thumbnails, will investigate)
6) Without doing any extra work, videos appear automatically on Flare.pub and any other Nostr clients that support it: https://www.flare.pub/channel/npub1cj8znuztfqkvq89pl8hceph0svvvqk0qay6nydgk9uyq7fhpfsgsqwrz4u
That's it. It's easy. Your videos are then available on Nostr for anyone on any client that supports it.
