I don’t see any other way to interpret what he does. I mostly ignore him but he goes in cycles. No, it is all free. I lose money every month running it, I am doing it for the community and to help teach others about Nostr and Bitcoin, I will be writing many of the articles too, just trying to help.

To his credit, at least he’s putting something out there for people to use, even if I find them to be completely useless products considering that nostr already supports blogging natively. But begging for zaps instead of coming up with a viable service/product is such an old and tired tactic at this point.
I understand that people are weary to trust me, if I could at least explain the purpose of this site I'd appreciate it. The last blog website Pleb.lol was a website for plebs to post on, I realized that is wasn't working so I discontinued it. That domain is now used by Nip05s. This website Bitstr.org is a free website focusing on teaching people who aren't on Nostr or use Bitcoin already about it. I have been working on content myself for it, I just have it open so people who want to help can. No sign ups or payment required.
As for the asking for zaps, that's mainly for my Free Nip05s at Pleb.lol. I do each one manually.
No, you don't sign up, it is a free website of Nostr and Bitcoin material, you don't need to sign up to submit or read anything.
