 Men don't fear to die.
Death is inevitable, but the fear of living without a sense of purpose and accomplishment in the presence of death is far worse than death itself, we don’t want to live forever, we want to create something that does.

A notion of an afterlife for some can enrich their lives to achieve this completion, living a life filled with righteousness and integrity, but it can also slander it by having the belief that we get another shot at existence. It’s a double edged sword hence it being a bit 'iffy.' Ultimately people will have to figure out what works for them.
Life without death is meaningless. But being able to understand the nature of reality and unlocking the secret of an afterlife would completely change that, hence why it must remain a mystery. Are you going to wait for an afterlife to achieve wholeness? I believe in God, and yet I have absolutely no way of proving that, that is how it’s meant to be.
