There's a reason why I live in northern Idaho where the majority of the population is white Christian conservative and not self-loathing white liberals.
White skin (and red and blonde hair) are recessive genes. They inherently can't dominate the population. You can't tell by looking at someone how "white" there genes are because brown and red pigments dominate even when you have the recessive gene, its expression is muted by numerous others.
I'm not white, but I clearly understand what you're saying. It becomes even more frustrating when you know there are very organized efforts to completely destroy your heritage, and you're not allowed to defend or even identify with your identity.
