Dang. Where is this? Texas Roadhouse?
Lol no idea, i stole it from someone else
Good looking out nonetheless. I’ve just become more paranoid.
Was there any kind of discount or gift card already applied?
 Damn,

It doesn't help that most people just tap through these screens without really thinking about the math.
Super scammy.

"Tip is calculated after tax and before discounts"

Uh... thats not how gratuity works folks.
The tax man is the LAST person to get paid.
 Common Core Math
tipping culture is cancer, fix that, americans
Does this qualify as wire fraud? #asknostr #legalstr
 Damn. Shady AF.
The amount of “adults” I’ve had to teach about the simplicity of percentage multiplication is scary.

“Put away your tip calculator app that’s embarrassing and retarded. Just multiply the total by .2 and that’s 20% of the total. Yes it works with any number.”
Best part about this is I tipped 90% ar a restraunt I enjoy, my card literally asks me everytime I do if it was correct.
absolutely. These centralized POS companies are the reason. They send newsletters to merchants that suggest, instruct and normalize this disingenuous practice.

I remember when alcohol was also netted from the tip base at restaurants.

How about they add some real value, instead of sitting on the pipe of our wealth with a straw in it.
 i don't actually understand American's tipping culture
I despise these automated tip prompts that are showing up everywhere. Tips are for tipped-wage workers who rely on tips to earn their living (wait staff, valet, etc). If you're earning a wage of $15+/hr, you don't get tips. I think these "tips everywhere" screens are pissing people off leading to fewer tips for the people who actually rely on them.
