Thinking about it, Boomers are the reason folding phones will (eventually) catch on. Declining eyesight means they'll want a small tablet they can read messages/notificationas on, but it needs to fold in order to fit in their pockets. (It's the one valid use case for folding phones I can see, other than ostentatious display of wealth.) I'm thinking back to anecdata about older people who don't have a phone but ♥️ their iPad Mini.
