Just ease of use and user experience will make a huge difference. People don’t polish the base sufficiently and users waste a ton of time just to get frustrated in the end. It’s not about the features, it’s about the experience 

 The experience is much harder to nail than it seems from the outside.

 I don’t need to. I talk to many devs and see what they have to deal with. Things your average user has no idea about 

 It is, and yet no focus on it. Fixing embarrassing bugs that waste time is a start 

 There is a lot of focus on bugs, people just don’t see the work being done 

 I am in both camps, and I still think that there is not enough of it 

 It’s boring and hard work. I can kind of understand not spending all of your time fixing annoying bugs that won’t go away. Solo dev need to keep up spirits and new features is one way to do it.
