Yeah, so far. But I'm diving deeper all the time.
I told a long-time friend about my latest obsession and mentioned that I don't usually get just a little bit into something. Her response: NEVER halfway, always both feet!

@cc5f5990 I know that feeling. may your diving be fruitful!
@40ceb4c5
Honestly, I've received SO many side benefits from most of my obsessions!
#Running brought me friendships and races all over the world.
#Genealogy brought me connections with far-flung cousins and ancestral homes in the US and Canada
#reading has taken me to every corner of the world and every era in time as well as friendships with other readers.
I'm glad I was gifted with an #ItchyBrain and the will to follow where it leads.

@cc5f5990 mine tend to be things or hobbies, which means I invest a lot and then move on.
@40ceb4c5 I have had hobbies like scrapbooking that cost me a huge amount of time and money but it carried me through some extremely stressful years so I have no regrets. Just a LOT of supplies I’d like to offload to a good cause.
@cc5f5990 I never thought of it that way: even if it was temporary, it helped at the time, and that's enough.
