youd think i’d get the most solar power input when the sun is most intense in the summer, and shines longer. but i get the most input on sunny days in the fall and winter, when the low temperatures increase panel efficiency.
Hmm I get a lot less in winter also lithium batteries less efficient. Though mine are on an anchored boat that I only heat when I'm there so a different situation Do you move them to catch direct rays? I've found I can double my wattage by pointing them at the sun throughout the day but I seldom bother because I don't need more
Total production from mine is still higher in summer but it's specifically due to total, usable daylight.
