I used to be in the anti-pineapple camp based solely on principle. But, the contrast in flavor of salty and sweet is too tasty to deny. I have caved and switched sides. Might I suggest also adding some spice to the equation?! Try a bacon, pineapple, banana pepper and jalapeño pizza sometime!
I love pineapple and even pineapple with pepperoni is good. But with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese? That just sounds odd.
