 It would be insightful to read a “promises vs reality” piece about Monotype’s FontShop/FontFont acquisition. It’s been almost a decade now.

 @6892b410 I have the earliest design sketches of fontshop.com because at some point we pitched the idea to FS sell fonts on internet.
