Alright, here is my few sats about the #Bitkey:
1. 🤩 Block nailed with the design! I love how it feels in my hands! Something like a premium class!
2. 💥 It is really the easiest set up I ever had and spend my time on! Took me ~2 minutes. And it’s fucking 2of3 multisig!
3. Transfer in and out was also very easy and their app is simple to understand! 🚨 But when sending out sats I want to have a custom fe.
4. 🚨 I couldn't connect it to electrum server! It doesn't work!
5. 🤯 Recovery process from emergency kit was easy. I extracted PDF from Iphone icloud then downloaded APK to my Pixel and scanned it. 🚨 On the other note, I don’t use Google Play store or any other stores on GrpaheneOS that makes this device useless! The APK file is only for emergency kit and not for setting up new wallet.
6. The 2of3 multisig “behind the scenes” is cool but I can’t move my whole stack to this wallet. 🚨 I need seed words without it I’m locked to use Block device forever 😕
7. The daily limit is a cool feature that you set up and can spend sats from your app(hot wallet) without need of the bitkey device! 🚨 But $200 is really nothing burger and I wish there will be other options. At least few thousand $
7. ☝️This is going to be my pocket wallet for small amounts for sure. Also one will be gifted to my mother so she definitely will gonna like this set up 🧡

For 6, are you saying you can’t just recover the whole wallet without a bitkey?
Because I think that’s correct. So it’s probably worth buying an extra.

I can't stomach the >$200 price tag though.
They had unannounced flesh sale and price was vary from $25-50 so i used that opportunity to yolo two of these.
I saw that.
It was a no brainer at that price. But it wasn't available where I am. 😕
I'm not too bothered tbh, as I probably have too many wallets already.
I like having multiples too, as it's like having a hardware backup.
8. 🤔 Just an observation what if the mobile pay feature could flip sats from onchain to lightning so that people will be introduced to layer 2 and spend from there.
9. Also, just figured out that there is no UTXO selection so you that isn’t good for privacy purpose.
9. Since it’s a multisig I guess it would make sense to switch to Taproot to lower transaction fees
10. Also the option to choose the recovery key. For example to eliminate risks and protect my privacy I would like to turn off Bitkey server and replace it with a third party trusted person instead
