@3967703f My son is in the 9th grade. (In Germany) He regularly has classmates from various countries. A lot of them speak English in addition to their mother tongue, but not much German. Since he's bilingual from the beginning, (I'm American and Mom is German) he spends a lot of time translating. This has truly had an effect on how he sees other cultures. 

 @8bdf03fd That's awesome! Language is the key to culture, to what matters to people. Your son is a very lucky kid.
