I think unions are necessary with some horrible industries and some evil employers out there.

At Tesla, it’s a different story where Tesla’s salaried and hourly employees are well-compensated, and even the hourly employees will be quite well-off in the near future with their stock options. ~Many~ of them have actually become millionaires already. https://image.nostr.build/b5cb7d2369415feb987b5c314f8ead1ba41f6e5e296309296f03e7938c1c61fa.jpg
This wasn’t a strike on Tesla, it was a strike on GM, Ford, and Stellantis.
yes, you’re right. tesla’s hourly employees have not unionized & are not affiliated with the uaw, but it’s not clear if the author of the article quoted by nostr report or if the nostr report poster was aware of this fact.

nostr report quoted the article that says the blue check removal was a “move” as if intentional by 𝕏, also insinuating that 𝕏 has an aggressively anti-uaw stance because of its connection to tesla. 𝕏 did not try to silence the uaw as it was entering a strike. it was not intentional. uaw changed their profile picture.
