Block space is more scarce and desirable than property in Vail and onchain gentrification was inevitable. Those who would benefit from its highest and best use aren’t necessarily the ones who will get to benefit from in in the short term. 

I’m not a bitcoin OG and I can imagine this isn’t what folks like yourself signed up for. On a long enough time scale perhaps Bitcoin will be the global monetary system we all want. It may not be in our lifetime as it goes through the store of value evolution.
