TIL that in 2004, CEO of Ryanair Michael O'Leary purchased a taxi license plate for his Mercedes-Benz under the name O'Leary Cabs, enabling it to be classified as a taxi so that he could legally make use of Dublin's bus lanes to speed up his car journeys.
