I think it was @HODL who argued that bitcoiners and grandmothers basically give the same advice:
-Save money, go for walks, plant a garden, eat real food, don't trust the banks, focus on your community, get some sun, etc.
I think that comparison is under-marketed. We need some memes about it or something.
We’re honestly a very wholesome and lindy community, not sure why we spend so much time seeming angry and disillusioned lol
Taleb makes that point in his writing too, e.g. _Skin in the Game_. Long-standing morals, time-tested advice etc.
(Not that he's esp loved by Bitcoiners these days.)
What Taleb wrote before Bitcoin Derangement Syndrome is still great advice.
Same with Dave Ramsey, he says he just gives the same advice your grandma would. It's a shame he can't see Bitcoin yet.
