Ubuntu update system has become quite the messy process -- a hodgepodge of repositories, snaps, flatpaks, etc. that show up in different places.
This used to be easier, and that's not something you can say very often about Linux.
@f8d9bc1c I'm not experiencing too much difficulty. I just use the GUI and zip zap it is done.

@f8d9bc1c The flatpaks and snaps really chew up disk space, but I guess that's cheap enough now. Ubuntu became too corporate for me, so I went back to Debian. At least with Linux, you have these kind of choices.
There's always the fallback position of OS/2 (now as ArcaOS). ;-)
