I hate leaders, I hate hierarchy, I hate groups, I don't want anyone to command me but God and my conscience.
I hate hate.
Technically is God a leader?
Yes, although I am not a traditional believer, I do not believe in god as the leader they sell us, I do not believe in religious institutions either, I would say that I do not believe in god either, and if there is a god it is something much more transcendental, something like the creator of the universe, in my case I simply believe in God as I respect my ancestors and my culture.
Noted. About ten years ago I was awaken to this idea that needed to be released via one conversation. For a few years after I was in amazement, shock, and confused, literally turned my whole outlook inside out. About three years ago I started exploring it. A year ago, it clicked. It was a journey to understand the universe - or God - was a huge part of life for me. I felt connected in a way I couldn't explain to most people without them be receptive to how amazing it is. For me, the Universe is not a leader or commanding, it's just there. Present. Walking alongside you. If this makes sense.
Genuine question I've never understood - why take orders from God? Or a priest? Its just not that obvious to me why people accept to be overruled by any authority, be it god or govt. I mean fine if god is telling you to do something you want to do anyway, or agree with. But what happens when you don't agree?
And isn't god a leader? Yes, although I am not a traditional believer, I do not believe in god as the leader they sell us, neither do I believe in religious institutions, I would say that I do not believe in god either, and if there is a god it is something much more transcendental, something like the creator of the universe, in my case I simply believe in god as respect for my ancestors and my culture. Traditional communism and modern statism try to make people not believe in anything, religion and culture are the fabric that binds us as human beings in the same values and objectives. Men and women without goals and beliefs are the perfect fuel on which modern statism feeds. So if the state tells me that I don't have to believe in god, I will do it with more strength, I believe in god, god dictates my destiny, god is almighty and omnipresent, even if that god is my conscience, it makes no difference, because I believe either in myself or in god. nostr:note15dln2wq94ma5xprnlwfzwxt6udpjp5hmkl5wkd3kl39jxrevttrs9yk8pl
You just state here what I think about god. Here you have a zap!
those things bother me too. I don't hate them, but I'm uncomfortable with them. I've been investigating this within myself and part of that is because I believe (not rationally) that one person is better than other. so when I see that externally, it resonates with this belief and I get upset. it's hard for me to even talk about things I'm interested in because I'm afraid I'm not the best person talking about it. your post helped me to be with this a bit more. I'll keep the work here.
Simulation theory? Everything reduces to "you" & "your environment"? Do you believe there are other agents like yourself in your realm?
