 Lightning 👀 it’s about time
Not yet afaik. They have 1 out of many pending trading protocols released, but this is the first step.
 EU citizens need this
Do you need help to install Linux in your PC?
 Yes
 In which part/process?
If you're serious, I recommend Pop!_OS as a good starting point.
With a bit more patient Debian is not hard at all. With the live iso it's like installing Ubuntu. And now with all nonfree firmwares included
Yeah, I used Ubuntu for a while but then switched to Pop. Ubuntu feels more and more like it's trying to be MacOS, which I hate.
 That was my first thought.
Can't be happier to see. This jives well with my goals to stack more sats #wayToGo #bisq!
Is there a migration path from bisq 1 to bisq 2? In terms of keeping your reputation and fiat source/destination details.
Yes. But Bisq 2 allows you multiple identities for privacy. You could have a buying account, selling, liquid swapping…etc. So only 1 gets the reputation.
So more like robosats where reputation isn't as important anymore?
 OOOhhhh... tutorial coming ????
Let's discuss the fact that you need to use something tied to your name to purchase p2p. Examples: your CashApp account tied to you and your bank. Your Amazon account. Etc. Plus you're paying a hefty premium. You're better off getting the best exchange rates at a regular exchange like Strike (or CashApp directly) and moving it to cold storage.
This misses the point. None of this information is visible to bisq - only to you and your peer. When you use an exchange you have a regulated honeypot of information that is required by law to keep your data on file for 7 years. With p2p one person who probably doesn't care knows who you are, but you can coinjoin so they gain no further insight into your affairs.
If you're making a video it's worth mentioning the pros and cons. Use cases. Part of the learning experience.
But the point still stands because your trading partner has the info. If a government wanted to figure out who owned that UTXO all they’d have to do is press the sell who’d give up some random person they don’t know in a heartbeat. Or the government could be the seller just pretending to be a bitcoiner looking to sell some coin.
Think of the effort required to do this vs simply asking an exchange with tens or hundreds of thousands of customers to cough up the info. No one is saying you might not grab a couple hundred bucks from a spook, but there's a huge difference from having the entire history of everything you ever did with a single entity.
Oh I agree that it definitely makes it harder to find you but it definitely doesn't make it impossible
 100%
 👀👀 looks like fun
Why aren't you using Linux? Just wondering.
For video editing and other creative stuff it's a nightmare IMO.
 Is it finally happening?
just downloaded and made an offer to test!
