Some clown back in 1997. I won a 56K modem in a contest that I didn't even enter. I only had to pay shipping. Sweet! As a dumb teenager, I sent them my debit card information over email. I got all of my money back without issue. This is why fraud insurance is a scam. That shit didn't exist 30 years ago and you didn't need it to get your money back. You just had to have your father call dozens of companies and do the work for you.
