 Coracles are/were used on calm waters such as rivers, so there needs to be a bit more serenity in the design.

 Oh yeah, I totally understand that seafaring coracles are completely untenable, big waves are just nice to look at

 Fair enough. From a branding perspective it may look like Coracle is unstable.
