When you’ve successfully mined a pow32, can you reassociate your profile to the new pow32, or is the pub/private key pair itself your identity? (So i would just start over with the new private key?)
When I did it I just moved to the new key and asked all my followers to follow me on the new one. Don’t get too attached to your first key. I’m not even attached to this one because if a better key scheme comes up I might switch to that one ;)

 Are you the . . . [wait for it™] . . . Key Master?

Maybe but as a core nostr person followers are more likely to go thru the effort. I am a humble nondescript pleb; wouldn't expect my followers to notice the request to change, or to cut over. i'm hanging on to my 32-bit PoW key until there is an auto-transition mech in clients

I don’t know enough about the method, but is there a chance a duplicate key could be generated and used by someone else while you’re holding onto it? Seems astronomically unlikely but something I’ve wondered.
astronomically unlikely is an apt descriptor but its probability is overestimated because humans are bad at extreme scales. functionally: no, never

I’ll let you know if something like this is ever possible
