I had just watched this yesterday with my daughter. An ambitious project. It wasn’t clear to me how much water was being pumped vs captured.
I watched that video it was great 👍
Interesting. Does this mean they’re changing their destructive ways. Many people left UN for the destruction they were causing with their programs which were badly designed and run. Hopefully they can go to Mali, get some cows back on there and fix the destruction the EU caused. My uncle was in FAO. Pretty obvious why they called it the failed agricultural organisation. I know I sound cynical but any of these programs will need at least 10-20 years actually producing results to 1: gain back some trust for these corrupt institutions, and 2: fix the damage they have caused in so many places in Africa. I certainly hope there’s now a few people with good intentions but Itll be a while before I’d sing any praises
