 No, but that's not the point. Lottery ticket solo miner or join a pool and make a tiny tiny amount. It's mostly for enthusiasts and people who just want to understand mining without spending a lot. Similar to bitaxe. Fun stuff.  

 Also, if more and more tiny miners like this become popular, it helps to distribute mining. Plus it's stratum v2.
