This apparently encouraged self harm and now I’m on read-only until a faceless bureaucrat in San Francisco clicks a button. Eating glass is the best advice to be fair. Going beyond tour comfort zone I understand but to the point you do something that can lead to own death and harm is pretty extreme hyperbolic advice imo. Next time just say eat bugz so you don’t get cancelled.

I deleted my account on Twitter. I was a non blue writer and didn't want to become one either. As a result of that, i sad almost 3 month's in a bubble. Lots of post was never red by my followers. I was punished for not taken the blue subscription. Now i'am full time on Nostr. First i like the technique and second i want de-central speech. For me, NOSTr is the future.

I just don't see how banning anybody plays out well. The solution is people moving away and unsubscribing from bad content. How you get there I'm not sure. Maybe things like community notes on Twitter can help. There needs to be a source of truth out there that is neutral when something controversial is said. If somebody says things that are untrue or harmful and that just raises their follower count there is something fundamentally broken.

I don’t see how this can be fixed. Social itself is the problem. You will always have abuse on either side, be it the person posting something sensitive or the person trying to take it down. The rule (in my humble view) should maybe be: if you say something about a person, say it to their face / virtual account. Then the person can react to it, be it request to take it down or answer. If the person is not on that social platform, then don’t. Rather spend your 8 Dollar blue checkmark on promoting free journalism. And let the journalists be your representative when it matters, and is not about attacking the average person and making their lives publicly miserable. Rules enforced by open source AI.

One of my close friends who has a depression disorder had their recovery buddy commit suicide two days ago. Apparently the negative content they came across in social media played a large part in their decision. I understand you may not care about life, but most people do: So expect negative consequences when you try to harm life.
