I looked up the replacement, which says it's a "AC/DC Switching Power Supply Transformer 29V/24V 2A Adapter with AC power wall cord"

okay I'm not happy with the voltage being a plus or minus! generally when you buy a DC power brick they tell you what volts you get, you know? 

 Anyway I bought a replacement. Just not from them.
