@dabe0ad5 @804e5d83 it was a strange trip. My friend and his GF invited me for Thanksgiving to CT (his family) and NJ (her family).  His was weird creepy CT rich people.  Hers was weirder because she had been telling me for months she lived down the street from Springsteen. She didn't tell me until we were pulling up that she lived in a duplex. Later, it turned out that she forged her admission to the law school we were both attending.  Strange days.

The Gold Coast (Fairfield to Greenwich) is rife with assholes. 

Litchfield County is still pretty chill, although the new money from NY is buying property and putting up monstrosities of homes.
