 The thing I would go for with the first nostr client would be the NIP phone:
Similar functionality like a Nokia 3210 but additionally with payments, group SMS and video calls. Nothing more.

 For me it would be an iOS app. I would onboard my friends. Kind of an infrastructure fallback. I wouldn’t support a universe channel. You must know my npub to call or write to me. Just like a phone.
