@dee34601 Thought-provoking. I am reading a book where people are successfully uploaded to computers - not a perfect copy, but good enough - and everyone starts to lose track of what it means to be whatever they are. Humans inhabit an AI, AI inhabits the humans. The original humans die and living ones need to trust the copies. Maybe we are seeing the beginning of the blurring of the line: we create tools that can ape us, at us, for us. Seems sadder than I thought it would be, said the human.
@0429f127 and now with Meta putting AI chatbots on Facebook, woof. imagine, you can used a deceased loved one’s content to create an AI version of them that will live forever. 🤐
