DEVS DO NOT DICTATE BITCOIN PROTOCOL CONSENSUS.

USERS ULTIMATELY CHOOSE WHETHER THEY UPDATE THEIR NODES.

THE PROTOCOL IS INCREDIBLY RESISTANT TO CHANGE BY DESIGN.

EMBRACE IT. GOOD MORNING.
Users must be highly knowledgeable. We are early.
BITCOIN REQUIRES PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY. FEATURE NOT A BUG.
 Responsibility is freedom. Few.

Good morning. Straight to trending for you.
People need to realize developers working on bitcoin doesn't actually mean they are actively trying to change bitcoin
True anyone can fork or add upgrades whenever they want.
There is a PSYOP going on against open source devs.
The truth of the matter is that suits want to appoint their devs and rewrite code according to their business model. Roger ver failed. They will surely fail.
 Totally

But users can be gaslight. The questions is how gaslight resistant Bitcoin is.
 GM🫡 bitcoiners run nodes

NOSTR USERS NOT ALGOS ULTIMATELY CHOOSE IF THEY SAY GM EVERYDAY
That's certainly one of the good things about bitcoin but sometimes bad actor(s) can exploit the protocol by gaslighting people in the name of free market for a long time until people realize that it's a SCAM.

I DONT TELL FOUNDERS HOW TO RUN THEIR BUSINESSES.

I SIMPLY PROVIDE SUPPORT AND ADVICE WHEN THEY ASK FOR IT.

 GM!

But don’t you think that most people run their nodes with Umbrel or similar providers and they will update as soon as they see an update is available?

I guess people are so used to update their apps on the their smartphones because usually these updates bring improvements.

People might think it’s the same with Bitcoin updates and update as soon there is one.
 I think you’re bang on.
I am nobody and I approve this message! 😅
This is why I run Knots now.
 That's a narrative fast becoming a cope.
YOU HAVE LOST THE PLOT IF YOU THINK THE ABOVE IS COPE.
 coping w/cope is a skill
 skills ODELL LFG!
You’re not paying attention, that’s the problem
Most users and node runners have no idea what the fuck they are doing
 🫳

🎤
That would require the users running a node not to just mindlessly update to the newest version

 GM! GREAT ODE TO🫡
 GOOD MORNING
Did you know the Runes ordinals peeps have gotten over 1000 people to run nodes? Not that that’s a bad thing I guess but I don’t think as many people are running no the way they used to.
This is why forks are not some scary boogeyman. They require overwhelming support. So we only get them if almost everyone wants them
Thomas Jefferson wrote, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."

Quite likely applies to the Bitcoin protocol somehow. Every so often, power grabs will occur, and battles will ensue
 This.

There is no central place to “lobby” or push for any change; this is a feature not a bug.
The danger is gaslighting the nodes that they need this and that malicious upgrade. After all, mass media as a tool convinced 7bn people to lock down for a non-pandemic. The biggest danger to bitcoin is constant upgrades that make the attack surface bigger and bigger until its so full of holes that bitcoin becomes useless.
Devs do set the defaults, node-in-a-box providers usually take over those defaults and provide (automatic) updates. How many node runners are actually consciously configuring their node settings?
