 Yet another example that to get privacy in cryptocurrencies you need privacy at the blockchain level and privacy at the network level. 

This last point is not understood by most people, and it is not only enough to use tor, even ecash (cashu) is vulnerable to this.

 The attacks in ln are different since the data is encrypted and no record is kept in any blockchain, plus the routing complicates everything (it is similar to the Tor network) attacks can come more from channel probing or from the logs of an LSP.
