One of the most horrendous ironies of WW2 is that we actually learned so much about human body through the Nazis horrific experiments, with sterilisation and birth control being of particular interest. I recall reading about a machine they developed that basically microwaved a dude's testicles without him realising. So that tech has existed for good 80 years now, but the invasive and cruel fertility experiments on women continue, which means its never really about keeping a potential population down, and all about making sure the current one knows its place.
We refused to use the Nazi data for two reasons Ethics, and it was shit-quality, largely just games pychopaths played with human lives. Now, we don't have ethics, and all science is bad method and goosey data, you just jump and and down and declare it true. You will find 100s of papers from decades ago on why scientists should refuse to use Nazi data. For example, The Nazi doctors throwing Jewish men in to freezing waters to the death to "study" the effects.

Medicine had a brief decade or so of ethics.
