Drop your #bitcoin home mining set up ⛏️ Here is mine #Bitaxe Supra and #Avalon Nano 3 👇 https://m.primal.net/JCQh.mov
Does the hand-grenade work🤔😬??
Only in emergency cases 😂
Ha ha😁.
Amazing 😉🤙
Doing my part 🫡
Best I can do is half-dead s9 in pieces in my closet…
Why half dead?
Actually 2/3 dead.. only one hashboard still works ha
I'm running an old ass custom built desktop with mynode on a vm https://i.nostr.build/62Zv.jpg
2 S9s. One has a dead hashborard. ~22TH https://image.nostr.build/40e8dd050696e7bae9bc35c8d5b23fbca12c365ab23581cb11bcdce7cb8daff5.jpg https://image.nostr.build/0506753c4272773ccfe13e7ebb4ad39f5c4b63de8cae68d8a0ccb4e241d4b9f3.jpg
I got one s9 as well but only plug it when it’s called weather https://image.nostr.build/93b9160253e1c4584bfba7a62f224347941cce3bc422333316befc5369001c13.jpg
They are wonderful machines. Have been running smooth for 3 years. 0.050 coins mined. 😂
That’s a retirement sats for your grandkids 😉
I could see a RPI also there, are you transmitting money sir? Lol
Yes, FEDS can go fuck themselves 🫡
Nice! Iv got one dead Ultra and now a Supra! Tempted by an S9 for the winter 🌽
Why it’s died ?
Keeps saying low voltage on the dashboard and over heating
Try to change the power supply
https://kaboomracks.com/product/used-antminer-s9/ Bought mine through Nick Kaboomracks. Won't make you a fortune but if you have 220v to spare worth the time. It's losing money in most jurisdictions for power rates but happy to help plebs out. 💯💯
About to mount these to my camper. Solar power hashing ftw. 🤟 https://i.nostr.build/8GLLv.jpg
Nice 👍 what solar equipment do you have ?
600W panels. 10kWh Lithium. https://i.nostr.build/zdjjM.jpg
Oh shit! That’s solid to power up some miners 👍
🔥🔥🔥🔥
🫡
Is there an easy plug n play at home mining setup?
Yes! Both are plug and play
BitAxe, Nano, StealthMiner... all plug and play
My Stealthminer is consistent 27 th/s, low heat/noise emissions :-)
How does it connect to a pool?
Logging into machine IP address on local network to adjust all fw settings. https://m.primal.net/JDhc.png
Seems complicated for a regarded person such as me.
I’ll make a guide for the website 😉
It isn’t much but it’s honest work with a very small dose of hope! https://m.primal.net/JCSf.jpg
Good ! Any hash counts 🫡
Nice. How many TH/s?
~6
Not Bad! You could probably solo mine a few testnet4 blocks on a quiet day. Thanks for securing the network!
Yeap. I do solo mining and seems like odds aren’t that bad 😅 But with pool it would make ~20k sats per month at current difficulty which is also not that bad.
Are these actually profitable to have in a house?
For me it’s not because I do a solo mining
So you just do it for the fun of it?
Decentralizing network and in the same time trying my luck to win the whole block
Cool. How much does a setup like that cost?
540k sats
That's the running cost or cost of hardware?.
Cost of hardware
That's lower than I thought.
Idk abt the node but I think the cost to run a bitaxe is negligible.
He asked about the price of the set up not the electricity
Love to see it! 🙌🏽🙏🏽

I signed up to buy one ! Looking forward to the specs and review
Appreciate the support and interest. I will work on specs graphics to post!

Is it ready? 👀🙌🏽🙏🏽 Where do I sign up to get one again?
Batch of 10 units printing for launch right now. Estimated launched in 2-3 weeks after my fans come in on July 12.
This might be a dumb question but will it be able to be plugged into a standard outlet in the US?
Not a dumb question. It is the de facto market for it. Makes more sense to buy a used S19 if you have 240v. The StealthMiner is specifically to bring S19 generation efficiencies into the North American living room where typical 120v AC loads are assumed to already exist. ~6-8 amp draw.
That’s exciting🙌🏽🙏🏽

Do we need a password? I just see a page to enter email to subscribe to updates.
Still working on the site and will open it up soon. I'm going to send an email out to everyone who signed up as soon as I open the store and will send batch build updates to that list as well!
Ahh gotcha gotcha. Keep up the great work! 🙌🏽💯

What are the dimensions?
300mm (11.81”) x 300mm (11.81”) x 146mm (5.75”)
#1 - The attic https://v.nostr.build/qvjZ.mp4 #2 - The modified miner (this is the attic one before the move) https://i.nostr.build/o5qL.jpg #3 - The Basement (there's only one in the basement now plus now big computer where the other one was sitting) https://i.nostr.build/ml5Bq.jpg
This is boss move 🫡🫂
I’m digging that attic setup. 🥹
Next, you must be planning on recycling that miner heat.
It’s going straight into the ducting of the house. We used it to heat the house all winter. Same with the one downstairs (it’s all open still so we didn’t have to duct anything) It’s just sad because I need a way to divert it, because right now it’s hot AF and so I’ve not run them for weeks.
This is my hold up. I want to be able to recycle the heat year round. Maybe I need to install a pool to justify this... Warm pool in the summer, warm house in the winter = Happy Mrs. ?
Or sauna
Avalon nano 3 🤝 https://m.primal.net/JCxj.jpg
How have you liked yours?
It contributes more to my happiness than my stack
I hear you. Happiness matters! 🙌🏽
💯 getting a bitaxe next
Same! I’m getting the Supra. Probably from Solo Satoshi. Might even order it this week.
2x S9 Running about 500W each. Nice Heat in the winter. Silent enough…. https://image.nostr.build/76c71e30d872dae23050d279d850d7e0f2d8bba8916e2c4b7b18264d2c6598d4.jpg
Two Whatsminer M31s miners. Banks block all crypto transactions via their credit cards so this way I’m essentially buying bitcoin from the power provider. https://m.primal.net/JDLY.jpg
pooling these 2.4 TH/s wtih OCEAN 🤠 https://m.primal.net/JDXW.jpg
About how often does ocean hit a block in your experience?
ocean has mined 8 blocks the past month, i have only been pooling with them for the last two blocks https://ocean.xyz/stats/bc1qyme70rttffljqdzv60al02rdycza69wqeaqc9m previously i was pooling with braiins, which has daily lightning payments, but apparently they are an antpool proxy 😞 https://m.primal.net/JDYK.png
Yeah I was mining on braiins a long time ago but payouts got to be too small with my little home hash and the antpool template news is weak af. I just switched over to ocean to try it out from ck .solo since I was probably never going to hit a block anyway ha. Cheers mate!
How do you like ocean in general?
just found out they use BOLT12 which is not supported by LND, and that is what alby uses. i need to get a home server and get a CLN started 😭
What’s CLN? And is BOLT12 bad for mining blocks?
CLN is the core lightning network implementation, im using GetAlby which apparently uses the LND implementation. BOLT 12 is an update for lightning but its currently only available on CLN and not LND this is only for withdrawing on ocean via lightning, this has no effect on the block mining 🤔
Ahh understood. I’m new to all of this so I appreciate it. How have you liked mining with the ocean pool though? Do they find a decent amount of blocks?
well ocean has a very small percentage in the global hashrate, the time in between blocks can be much bigger, they spent over 2 weeks without mining a single block but then mined 3 in the same day https://m.primal.net/JDYK.png
How do you get an alby address berenguer? Is only with referal code right?
it wasnt when i made it but it is now now, i cant find how to get the invite code either but if anyone knows where to find i can share for sure 👀
Hey, our most active users and Alby Hub betatesters have the option to invite others to #getAlby! Maybe @𝕾𝖊𝖗 𝕾𝖑𝖊𝖊𝖕𝖞 @TomekK @saunter have some? ------- PS You can also become an early adopter and share your feedback about upcoming self-custodial Alby Hub. do u have a wife?
OSMU in tha house 🤙 Gonna do an advanced soldering workshop in october with nostr:nprofile1qqsx8y4dj9mzt99r9yvd3jklt9s37mta0lhq3rq0mvn3lk2f8szr9vcpzpmhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejsz9rhwden5te0wfjkccte9ejxzmt4wvhxjmcpr9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucm9wf3kzarjdamxztndv55rr3sg. If that workes out i'm planning to build a #bitaxe-hex from scratch. I hope there will be a release with the BM1368 by then... 20W/Th is very nice 👌 https://image.nostr.build/38dc7fc2316fa30c6b7ddac7c79220e104ade20d65a16efeda728c46869d5f17.jpg
This is 🤘
How was the set up for the bid axe? I can do some set up, but not super technical and was wondering if this is a good choice? Your thoughts?
Bitaxe and Avalon are the plug and play. Every kid can set it up
