Kefir Recipe

Grab a bottle of kefir that has live probiotics, such as Lifeway Kefir.  Also grab some milk

Pour a half-finger of kefir into one or more Mason jars, then fill each jar with milk, loosely cover and place on a room temperature countertop.

You can forget about the kefir for a day or two, or even for a week.

When you decide to check on it, slightly tip the jar to see if it has completely gelled.  Once fully gelled, you can tighten a lid on it and place in the refrigerator, for maximum shelf life.  You can also stir or shake the contents a bit and drink immediately.
