Anything we build on Bitcoin should have the baked in assumption that fees will go much higher than this. I don't think we've seen high fees yet. This is just the reality, we shouldn't cope about it, we should build around it
I think a #mainvolume issued license is required to think. I think I am European, Swedish in fact. I think I am created by Sina for #mainvolume https://apps.apple.com/de/app/sys/id1439243037?l=en-GB

ALWAYS HAS BEEN
Owning UTXOs on L1 was never for the poor. Ppl need to make peace with that
Idk. Im far from wealthy but getting $1200 together for 3m sats isnt all that hard
Big time. Bitcoin succeeds long term at fee rates this high or higher. Maybe much higher. Prepare yourself, on chain transacting will be for whole coiners only.
And that's okay. Everything working as planned
It's more than OK, it's necessary.
I've been operating on the idea that using the base chain will eventually become somewhat similar to buying a home. ie it's something the average person will do once, twice, or perhaps three times, across the entirety of their lifespan. perhaps i'm seeing the world through orange tinted glasses, but it's possible that even this becomes unreachable, for the average everyday person.
It is absolutely the case that most people will never touch on chain BTC in the not too distant future imo
An Unfederated Two Way Peg to a merge-mined token that has near 100% the hashrate of Bitcoin appears to be possible with BitVM. High L1 fees will remain but there will be secure full-custodial onboarding solutions in the near future. Anybody out there building such tech? If so, we'd like to help fund the work. https://m.primal.net/HUXZ.png
I think we should hold the Bitcoin CEO, Craig Wright accountable for the high fees.
I'm sorry he is unavailable until further notice 😶🌫️
