The latest update of amethyst is erasing all my typed text when I attempt to link a gif when the nostr.build upload widget thing pops up. This is most vexing. I do not want to upload a gif, just render it, obviously.

 How are you sending the gif to amethyst? Via the new share pop-up?  

 No. Simply trying to link it via my keyboard as I've been doing for over a year now.  

 yeah, I have no idea what your keyboard is doing.. we don't have support for keyboard gifs yet.. 

In the past, did it just paste a URL in the text?  

 Yes. That's all it does. Literally searches tenor and pastes the url. This now pops up the media uploader, which now also deletes any text that I've written previous to selecting the gif and the popup popping up.  

 Which keyboard is that? I need to see what's the hack they are using to make this even feasible.  

 SwiftKey.

 Yes... Don't judge me too hard. I've been using it before it was bought by MS and there's no other keyboard that works as well for me. 😅 

 Hum... Looks like if the app can receive local images, the keyboard stop sending those tenor urls and send the files themselves, which need to be uploaded..

I am seeing if there is a way around it. But since Amethyst became a Share target for any image in the system, the keyboard seems to not accept sending urls to the text anymore.  

 Is there any way to toggle the sharing thing? I've never once thought of using that kind of function since the share button on amethyst works really well to send specific notes.  

 Not that I know of.. The keyboard seems to think that if an app can receive images, it must get the local version and never the online version.
