 @5e747d35 and yet another brother in watch!!! 🤗

That's the "new" 5610U (2021?) with the new light and the 5 lang and date set ups!

And you went with the Nato strap!! it's looking awesome! Did it go with you on your rainy run today?

I have the regular 5610. But the Multiband 6 doesn't work over here because there's no antenna in South America. It did sync on the first try back when I was living in Mexicali though! I really miss the "rcvd" legend on the screen!

I have to go with a replacement strap. My wrist is always between two holes on a standard Casio band so the watch is either too loose or too tight.

I take it running, to the desert, to the jungle even swimming in the sea and it's never given any trouble.

 @5e747d35 yeah .. I know what you mean .. some models just don't hit that sweet spot.

It happens to me too (except with my GW-M530A-1 .. that one just has a perfect fit for my wrist).

Why I usually do though, is move the watch a little up or down my wrist and strap accordingly .. even though sometime they may be a little tight ...

 @3aa006c3 @5e747d35 @bc80eaf5 Gonzalo, I have had issues with Multiband 6 syncing as well. I found this app and it synced my watch every time. It's an iPhone app, so I don't know if it will help. I haven't looked for an Android alternative just yet, but I'm sure there must be something available.

I am a lot luckier than you guys, since I am in Europe, and probably relatively close to the DCF 77 Mainflingen radio station.

I also have a Waveceptor and Titanium ProTrek, and I just leave them under a window during the night, they get synchronized every time!

Bonus: since they are both solar powered, they get charged when I am wearing the GulfMaster!
 @bc80eaf5 yup. I figured that if you didn't get the signal from the German antenna, you may very well still covered by the UK one .. so it's either you sync from one or the other .. but you sync like a champ!! 😎

@b9081348 @5e747d35
 @3aa006c3

Why not both?  😂

I mean the watches are not talking, they just tell me they got time sync!

This being said, i have been able to get sync in the USA, in New York of all places, and that's pretty far away from the US time station!

@b9081348 @5e747d35
 @bc80eaf5 wow .. I don't even know how that happened!
New York is really far away from the two nearest antennas (Forth Collins on the west and the UK one on the east)! That's pretty amazing actually!

 @3aa006c3

It's not that surprising, since the radio at Fort Collins has been designed to broadcast a time signal over most of the US, Canada and Mexico.

These guys have several radio masts that are over 100m high.

This is a part of public infrastructure that is truly fascinating - how to give everyone over a continent the exact same time.

And Casio was able to miniaturize this and put it inside a watch. And THEN they over-engineer that watch to resist everything!

@b9081348 @5e747d35
 @bc80eaf5 and if that isn't and amazing feat .. then I don't know what is ... #Casio did everything right with their #GShock !!

I'm so glad that I found I was not alone on this one and that so many of us are on the same boat and appreciate the same qualities on mass produced item!.

And most of all: that we didn't gave in and chose our privacy above all else!

 @b9081348 thank you mate!

I did download an android app, and the watch actually does sync ( even if those apps are a little cumbersome to use ) but, as I came to discover, the thing is that if I want to sync them, I need to change the local time zone to one that has an antenna, then sync, and then change back to my time zone!
And when I change back to my time zone, the "rcvd" legend disappears from the screen!! 😔

But yes . I do sync them that way 👍

Thanks mate!
